Overview
LG was building a web-based B2B SaaS platform to help partner companies manage smart appliances, home energy systems, and services like Amazon auto-ordering and energy company integrations. I was responsible for designing scalable UX for key modules including API key management, real-time device dashboards, and energy analytics. I focused on developer usability and role-based access across complex workflows, resulting in smoother integrations and more intuitive partner operations.
What I did
Project management, UX planning, Research, UI Design: Wireframe, Prototyping
LG needed a scalable B2B SaaS platform to support partner companies in managing smart appliances, energy systems, and third-party integrations with services like Amazon and utility providers. The challenge was to design for highly technical workflows such as API key management, device monitoring, and energy analytics: while keeping the experience intuitive and developer-friendly.
The goal was to deliver a unified UX system that would streamline partner operations across devices and services, simplify complex workflows such as API setup and energy control dashboards, and ensure security and consistency for sensitive third-party integrations with companies like Amazon and Edison.
Delivered a modular, role-based UX system that enabled partners to operate more intuitively, integrate services more seamlessly, and manage energy systems with greater confidence. The platform improved developer usability, reduced friction in technical workflows, and strengthened trust in LG’s ecosystem.
